Swim team finds creative use for moving walkway during airport delay

RALEIGH, N.C., Nov. 10 (UPI) — The University of Louisville Women’s Swim and Dive Team made the most of flight delays by using a moving walkway to practice their moves.

The video, posted to Facebook by team member Kelsi Worrell, features team members using the moving walkway at Raleigh-Durham International Airport to simulate rowing, swimming and other activities.

The team said they conceived and filmed the video during their seven hours stuck at the airport.

“Whoever said swimmers were weird may have been right,” Worrell wrote.

The video went viral on Facebook, with more than 3 million views as of Tuesday afternoon.
