Zurich (AFP) – Swiss prosecutors said Friday they were probing the contracts of former FIFA chief Sepp Blatter and two deputies after the organisation revealed they had awarded themselves more than $80 million in often suspicious payments.

The Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (OAG) said it was investigating the contracts of Blatter, former FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke and finance director Markus Kattner, following a search of FIFA’s headquarters Thursday as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.
