SYRACUSE, N.Y., June 6 (UPI) — The Syracuse University football program is digging deeper than ever before on its recruiting path.
Head coach Scott Shafer recently offered a scholarship to a one-month-old baby. Theo Schein is the son of sportscaster and Syracuse graduate Adam Schein.

“Per NCAA rules, the full scholarship will cover tuition and registration fees, text books and course related fees, and room and board. It will not cover diapers, blankets, bottles or other necessities for your upcoming developmental years. This scholarship is subject to you meeting: (1) all NCAA eligibility requirements (2) all the admission requirements for Syracuse University and (3) at a minimum height of 6’1” and weight of 200 lbs.”
Theo would be enrolled in the class of 2032. Adam Schein is employed by SIRIUSXM, CBSSN, SNY, NFL.com.
On his Instagram post, he thanked the coach for the offer.
