Oberstdorf (Germany) (AFP) – Japan’s Sara Takanashi claimed her 48th career ski jumping World Cup win on Saturday to stay comfortably on course for her fourth overall title.
The 20-year-old jumped for 131m and 129m to finish ahead of Russia’s Irina Avvakumova and Japanese compatriot Yuki Ito, who is second in the World Cup standings.
