WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 (UPI) — Taylor Swift shared an old photo from her childhood featuring a yellow Teletubby costume Wednesday, subsequently launching the Internet into a frenzy.
The black-and-white pic, uploaded onto her Instagram page, shows a young Swift waving and smiling for the camera from within the costume. A smaller, stuffed version of her chosen television character is under her left arm. The post earned over 1.2 million likes and 30,000 comments.
“When you dress as the yellow teletubby for Halloween, but it’s before Teletubbies got huge so all the kids at school ask you why you’re dressed as a yellow pregnant alien,” Swift joked in the caption.
Swift will be spending Halloween performing in Tampa, Fla.. Her most recent concert in Miami featured such celebrities as Ricky Martin, Pitbull and Dwayne Wayde. Her boyfriend Calvin Harris was also in attendance supporting Swift.
