NEW YORK, Sept. 14 (UPI) — The Weeknd showed his support for new girlfriend Bella Hadid at New York Fashion Week over the weekend.
The 25-year-old Canadian singer, born Abel Tesfaye, showed up hand-in-hand with the 18-year-old American model to the Alexander Wang show Saturday. The pair sat front row and mingled with the likes of Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and Kylie Jenner at the after-party.
The star watched Hadid walk the runway for Diane Von Furstenberg the next day. The model, older sister Gigi Hadid and friend Kendall Jenner showed off brightly-colored ensembles as The Weeknd’s hit single, “Can’t Feel My Face,” played in the background.
The Weeknd and Hadid have been linked since the spring, but only recently went public with their relationship. The couple were spotted at dinner last month in Los Angeles, and were seen again last week at a New York restaurant.
The Weeknd last released Beauty Behind the Madness, which topped the Billboard 200 for its second week Sunday. Hadid is the youngest child of Mohamed Hadid and Yolanda Foster, and recently landed a modeling campaign with Victoria’s Secret Pink.
