NEW YORK, April 15 (UPI) — Theo Rossi and Meghan McDermott are expecting their first child.
The 39-year-old actor and his wife revealed as much at the Vanity Fair Tribeca Film Festival party Tuesday, where McDermott showed off her baby bump in a simple black dress.
“Meghan’s due on my birthday!” Rossi announced to Us Weekly at the event. “We are so excited. I love it. I don’t like to sleep [anyway] so it’s perfect. Everything has gone well [with the pregnancy]. We’re just really excited.”
“I’m just excited for him or her,” he added to People magazine. “I’m just excited for this baby to grow up in New York City because it’s the greatest place in the world, and it made me who I am, and I just think that it’s going to be very interesting because it’s a very different time from when I grew up.”

Rossi will celebrate his 40th birthday and baby’s due date June 4. McDermott took to Twitter to thank fans for their well wishes Wednesday, writing, “We are THRILLED and GRATEFUL beyond measure. Cannot wait to meet our little one very soon! xo.”
Rossi is best known for portraying Juan Carlos “Juice” Ortiz on FX series Sons of Anarchy, which came to a close after seven seasons in December 2014. The actor will star alongside Morris Chestnut, Regina Hall and Jaz Sinclair in new thriller When the Bough Breaks.
