SAN DIEGO, Dec. 21 (UPI) — A thieving seal was caught on camera raiding a bucket of bait from a fishing boat docked in San Diego.
The video, filmed in the Point Loma area of San Diego, shows a boat-invading seal helping himself to the contents of a bait bucket.
The filmer said the “chummy seal” emptied the bucket of chum before swimming away.
The seal throws some of the food overboard and follows it into the water at least once before returning to the boat for another helping.
“Time is counting down before fishermen return, so he chows down without hesitation!” the filmer wrote.
