DETROIT (AP) — Tigers right-hander Anibal Sanchez has a no-hitter through seven innings against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Sanchez, who no-hit the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sept. 6, 2006, while with the Marlins, would become the fifth pitcher since 1901 to throw no-hitters in both leagues.
Sanchez walked two batters, including Jose Bautista in the seventh, and has thrown 90 pitches.
The Tigers lead the Blue Jays 7-0.
