CHICAGO, Aug. 26 (UPI) — Derrick Rose is hobbled again, but this time his matters are off of the court. The Chicago Bulls star, manager Randall Hampton and Ryan Allen were named in a lawsuit filed by a woman identified as “Jane Doe,” TMZ Sports reported Wednesday.
In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that the sexual assault allegedly took place in 2013. “Jane Doe” accused Rose and the two men of “slipping drugs into her drink” at his home in Beverly Hills. After escaping, she also claimed that Rose and the two men broke into her apartment later in the evening and “gang raped her,” according to TMZ Sports.
The report stated that the woman waited for two years to filed the suit because “she was ashamed and embarrassed of what happened and concerned her conservative family would find out.”
Adidas and Rose also launched the Rose 6 signature shoes Wednesday.
Rose and the woman date for two years, according to the report.
