LOS ANGELES, Oct. 19 (UPI) — Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer announced they are separating after nine years of marriage and 13 years together.
“After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple,” Maguire and Meyer said on Tuesday in a statement to People. “As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship.”
The pair met in 2003 and were married four years later. They have two children — daughter, Ruby, 9, and son Otis, 7.
Maguire is most famous for his role as Peter Parker in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films.
