ARLINGTON, Texas, April 20 (UPI) — Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo attended the Academy of Country Music Awards and threw a ribbing to the Patriots with a Deflategate joke.
Hosts Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan tossed it to Romo and Bryan asked for a pass from the football player.
Bryan caught it and Shelton had to make sure there wasn’t anything fishy about it.
“This isn’t one of those deflated balls, is it?” asked Shelton.
“Blake, we’re the Dallas Cowboys. We have real balls.”
