CRESSKILL, N.J., Aug. 24 (UPI) — Comedian Tracy Morgan and fiancee Megan Wollover tied the knot Sunday, 14 months after a deadly car crash left him in critical condition.
The ceremony took place in Cresskill, N.J., where close friends and family looked on, including their 2-year-old daughter Maven.
“After almost losing Tracy last year, I am so grateful to finally be married to the love of my life,” Wollover told People magazine. “I’m so excited to see what our future holds and feel so blessed to spend the rest of my life with Tracy!”
Morgan did not need to use of a cane to walk his bride down the aisle, as Morgan has recovered nicely from the crash. Feeling healthy, the 46-year-old actor announced last Monday that he will be returning to host Saturday Night Live on Oct. 17.
The appearance will mark Morgan’s first major performance since the June 2014 car accident. The actor was involved in a six-vehicle crash with a Wal-Mart truck on the New Jersey Turnpike that left him in critical condition and killed his friend, writer Jimmy McNair.
In May, Morgan and two other passengers settled lawsuits against Wal-Mart for an undisclosed amount.
This is Morgan’s second marriage, following his 2009 divorce from ex-wife Sabrina after being married for 23 years.
