LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11 (UPI) — Tyga and Blac Chyna’s son, King Cairo Stevenson, recently made his modeling debut.
The 25-year-old rapper tapped the 2-year-old to model Liquid Gold shoes for his LA Gear kids’ line. Tyga proudly shared photos from the campaign Wednesday on Instagram, aptly captioning one with a crown emoji.
Tyga, born Michael Nguyen-Stevenson, and Blac Chyna, born Angela White, started dating in 2011, and welcomed King in October 2012. The couple subsequently got engaged, but broke up in August 2014. Blac Chyna was reportedly bothered by her son’s modeling debut.
“Blac Chyna was super [expletive] off after seeing the modeling photos of her son,” a source told Radar Online. “Tyga did not confer with her about doing this and she does not want her son to be a public figure like the Kardashians.”
Tyga has been romantically linked to reality star Kylie Jenner for some time, and gifted the teenager with a Ferrari for her 18th birthday in August. The relationship caused friction earlier this year when Blac Chyna’s friend Amber Rose slammed the rapper for his involvement with Jenner.
Tyga last released The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty on Spotify in June, which includes the singles “Hollywood Niggaz” and “Pleazer.” Blac Chyna continues to oversee her Lashed Bar in Los Angeles, and has allegedly landed a new MTV reality series with Rose.
