UFC fighter joins in on joking after defecating during match

June 26 (UPI) — Justine Kish suffered her first loss in UFC this weekend, while also losing control of her bowels.

Felice Herrig won the three round bout by unanimous decision. She had two take downs of Kish (6-1). On one of those takedowns, Kish had an embarrassing moment.

Herrig (13-6) took down Kish Sunday at UFC Fight Night 112 at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Okla. Viewers could see a brown substance on the mat, coming from Kish in the strawweight bought. More importantly, she miraculously escaped a hard choke before the incident.

Kish issued some comic relief to her fans Sunday night, via Twitter, using a popular expression.

“I am a warrior, and I will never quit #[expletive]happens,” Kish tweeted. “haha be back soon.”

Several UFC fighters came to Kish’s defense after her reaction.

UFC featherweight Chas Skelly tweeted: “You are awesome for posting this.”

Fellow women’s strawweight fighter Tatiana Suarez wrote: “great fight Justine #[expletive]happens.”

During the fight, the duo hit the mat in the first minute. Herrig brought Kish down by her back for that move. Kish fought it off and got back to her feet. Herrig quickly got another takedown and secured the mount, but Kish escaped once more. Herrig climbed on top of Kish on her next takedown.

The fighters stayed standing for most of the second round, with Kish getting cut over her eye. Herrig earned a point in that round from scoring a takedown.

Kish escaped a tight rear naked choke in the third round, but could no longer fend off ‘the “Lil’ Bulldog’s” attacks down the stretch.
