European delegation visits Al Balqa Applied University

Salt, Feb. 18 (Petra)–A delegation representing the EU-funded project in Jordan: "Technical Assistance of the Programme in Support to the Employment and TVET Reforms" visited Al-Balqa’ Applied University where they were briefed by its President Nabil Shawaqfeh on the university’s message and vision in the vocational education and training field.

Shawaqfeh also spoke about challenges facing the university including the budget deficit which hinders its efforts to develop infrastructure of vocational education colleges.

Head of the delegation presented a briefing on the team’s duties and tasks which include assessing the situation of vocational training institutions in order to adopt effective policies to develop infrastructure of vocational training institutions and employ graduates.
