World Scientific Workshop Concludes at Hashemite University

Zarqa, April 2 (Petra) — The World Scientific Workshop, titled ‘Islam and Science: an Educational Preface’, concluded at the Hashemite University on Tuesday.

The workshop was organized by the Hashemite University, in cooperation with the American University of Sharjah and Université interdisciplinaire de Paris.

The workshop included 15 research studies and scientific articles related to the workshop’s themes, such as those on the history and philosophy of science; Islam and modern cosmology; Islam, modern biology and the evolution theory; Islam and the environment; and Islam and applied astronomy.

Noted scientists, intellectuals, experts and academics representing European, American, Islamic and Arab universities took part in the four-day workshop.
