Abu Dhabi to Host Pavilion on ï؟½Physical Security for Critical Infrastructure Projects' at ISNR 2014

WAM ABU DHABI: As preparations gather momentum for the upcoming International Security, Safety and National Resilience Exhibition and Conference (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014), REED EXHIBITIONS has announced the event will feature an expanded format and include a pavilion for ï؟ ½Physical Security for Critical Infrastructure Projects’.

The dedicated arena will showcase cutting-edge physical security solutions for critical infrastructure protection for the benefit of government, semi-government and private sectors. The component will have the endorsement of ISC West conferences and exhibition. Held in Las Vegas, the ISC West is a leading industry event that showcases global physical security solutions, latest technologies and industry trends. The event traditionally attracts top industry leaders along with regional decision makers and professionals to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and conduct business.

Mohamad Bader-Eddin, Show Director, REED EXHIBITIONS, said: "Our newest addition ï؟ ½Physical Security for Critical Infrastructure Projects’ will take place in the context of the rapidly growing physical security needs attached to the region’s new and existing critical infrastructure, which includes the expanding oil and gas, petrochemical, utilities and telecommunication sectors. Recent security threats of varied dimensions mean that the authorities – those within the government and private organisations – must remain in sync with international standards and practices, as well as employ the most relevant technology and training. ISNR 2014 will be the first platform of its kind in the region that is suited to the needs of all stakeholders in the physical security domain." Andrew MacGregor, Senior Sales Director at REED EXHIBITONS, said: "The UAE government’s strategy for safeguarding public safety and security, improving response to emergencies and reducing the crime rate makes Abu Dhabi the ideal venue to host the ï؟ ½Physical Security for Critical Infrastructure Projects’ pavilion. Major companies in the physical security sector are already working in the Middle East market and many more are looking to break into the domain in the near future. We are looking forward to offering them a platform for exploring viable opportunities." ISNR Abu Dhabi is set to take centerstage at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC) from April 1st-3rd, 2014. Apart from ï؟ ½Physical Security for Critical Infrastructure Projects’, ISNR 2014 will host four additional events, namely Homeland Security and National Resilience, Information Security by ISNR, Fire and Emergency Middle East, as well as Occupational Safety and Health Middle East. ISNR 2014 will feature 40 per cent more exhibition space than its previous edition in 2012, drawing the participation of more than 400 exhibitors and 15,000 senior security, safety and emergency professionals from across the MENA region.
