Minister of Energy hails efforts of Young Future Energy Leaders

WAM ABU DHABI, 20th October, 2013 (WAM) — Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy, has commended the efforts of the members of The Young Future Energy Leaders, YFEL, in reviewing the pivotal role played by the U.A.E. in the energy sector through their participation in the activities of the World Energy Conference which took place in the city of Daegu in South Korea.

As part of the awareness programme of the Masdar Institute, the Young Future Energy Leaders’ programme gives young students and professionals from the U.A.E. and abroad, the opportunity to participate and play an active role in finding solutions to the world’s biggest challenges.

The programme aims to create a platform for communication between young professionals and government representatives, business leaders and other active organisations in the field of alternative energy and sustainability.
