WAM ABU DHABI, 20th October, 2013 (WAM) — Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Public Works, is heading a U.A.E. delegation representing three federal bodies on a visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, in response to an invitation from Mario David, President of the U.A.E.- European Parliament Friendship Group.
The visit, which will continue until next Thursday, aims to develop relations between the European Parliament and U.A.E. government institutions.
The Minister said that the upgrading of institutional work comes within the priorities of the political leadership, stressing that the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, endeavours always for excellence.
The Minister also pointed to the importance of initiatives to enhance communication between institutions and draw up national plans and performance indicators that strengthen institutional frameworks.
The delegation includes a number of senior officials.
