PM meets global law firm team

Amman, Oct 20 (Petra) — Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Sunday met a delegation of the global law firm DLA Piper, headed by Co-CEO and Managing Partner, Nigel Knowles, currently visiting the Kingdom for the Jordanian-British business forum.

Ensour stressed the importance of the business gathering, which, he said, reflected confidence in the Kingdom’s investment climate and the many opportunities for business that economic indicators point to, such a growth in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the foreign currency reserves.

During the meeting, attended by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Ibrahim Saif, Knowles lauded political and economic reforms in Jordan, which he said, were key factors that attract companies for business.

DLA Piper is a global law firm with 4,200 lawyers in more than 30 countries throughout the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East, to help companies with their legal needs anywhere in the world.
