WAM ABU DHABI, 20th October, 2013 (WAM) — Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy, received on Sunday at the Ministry’s headquarters, Kwon Tah Kyun, Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to the UAE.
The minister and Korean envoy discussed the existing bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in all avenues.
Al Mazrouei hailed his last visit to South Korea and congratulated the Korean government on the successful organisation of the 22nd World Energy Congress and exhibition, held in Daegu, Korea, from 13 to 17 of October.
He also underscored the positive role of Korean companies operating in the country and their efforts to develop various industries in the U.A.E.
For his part, the Korean ambassador commended the strong relations between the two countries and the efforts exerted by the U.A.E. in all domains, particularly in the energy field.
He also stressed the Korean Government’s keenness on bolstering relations with the U.A.E.
