NEW YORK, June 10 (UPI) — The Broadway musical Gigi is to close June 21 after 20 previews and 86 regular performances, producers announced.
“#GigiOnBroadway says Au Revoir!” said a message on the show’s official Twitter account. “Final performance is June 21st.”
Hudgens and her co-stars performed “The Night They Invented Champagne” at Sunday’s Tony Awards ceremony. Despite enthusiastic applause for its show-stopping number, the musical took home none of the evening’s prizes.
