WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., April 4 (UPI) — Rapper and reality TV personality Vanilla Ice has reached a plea agreement in a Florida theft case.
Prosecutors in West Palm Beach have already dropped burglary charges against the celebrity, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Van Winkle, 47, was arrested in February for allegedly stealing items, such as bikes and a pool heater, from an abandoned home.
He has been ordered to complete 100 hours of community service for Habitat for Humanity and pay the late homeowner’s estate between $1,100 and $1,300.
The grand-theft charges against Van Winkle will be dropped if he complies with the terms of the agreement.
