Watch: Full Trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Hateful Eight’ released

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 5 (UPI) — The full trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming western The Hateful Eight was released online Thursday.

The snowy, gun-blazing two minute trailer features Kurt Russell’s untrusting hangman character John Ruth deciding whether or not to give a lift to Samuel L. Jackson’s mysterious bounty hunter, Major Marquis Warren, as he transports wanted fugitive Daisy Domergue played by Jennifer Jason Leigh.

The trio soon reach a cabin where Ruth explains to its inhabitants played by Bruce Dern (The Confederate), Walton Goggins (The Sheriff), Demian Bichir (The Mexican), Tim Roth (The Little Man) and Michael Madsen (The Cow Puncher) that Domergue is his prisoner and that he will be claiming her $10,000 bounty.

Bloodshed, lies and misdirection follow as the group is stuck inside the cabin due to a vicious snow storm. “For me it has more of a Western Iceman Cometh kind of vibe about it,” Tarantino said to Entertainment Weekly back in May.

The Hateful Eight is scheduled for a Christmas Day release in 70 mm theaters only before making its full national release Jan. 8, 2016.

Tarantino last made headlines in October after he joined hundreds of demonstrators at the RiseUpOctober-organized rally against police brutality. The director’s comments during the event landed the filmmaker in hot water with New York City police and his father Tony.
