LOS ANGELES, May 14 (UPI) — On Thursday, Hilary Duff, released a Tinder date documentary and music video hybrid.
The video for the singer’s new song, “Sparks,” follows her experiences with the dating application all while flashing back to a dance number that coincides with the track.
Artists usually involve product placement deals to cover the costs of big-budget productions, but Duff’s new video could almost be mistaken as an extended commercial for Tinder.
“In my life, I’ve always had really serious boyfriends, I’ve always met people through work and I’ve never been on a blind date. What’s the worst that’s going to happen?” she said while visiting 104.3’s Valentine in the Morning in April.
The opening scene of the video shows the actress telling the radio host about why she decided to join the popular app in the first place.
