NEW YORK, Nov. 12 (UPI) — In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Jimmy Fallon invited WWE superstar The Undertaker to The Tonight Show in order to defeat a man dressed as a turkey.
During Fallon’s “Suggestion Box” segment Wednesday, the late night host read one fan’s suggestion of having The Undertaker appear and unleash his signature move, the tombstone, onto someone in a turkey outfit.
As Fallon was read the letter and explained, “at this point it is very late notice and I wouldn’t even know how to contact The Undertaker,” he was suddenly cut off by the professional wrestler’s eerie entrance music. The lights dimmed and a thick fog encompassed the stage, the mammoth Undertaker appeared and promptly laid waste to a man dressed as a turkey dressed man who antagonized the 7-time WWE champion by clucking around him in circles.
Impressed, Fallon attempted to shake The Undertaker’s hand, real name Mark Calaway, before realizing the error of his ways.
The Undertaker will next be seen in WWE’s annual November event, Survivor Series. Earlier this month, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was injured while performing overseas, forcing his title to be vacated. A tournament will be held at the pay-per-view event to crown a new champion.
