Watch: Jimmy Kimmel correspondent Jake Byrd crashes Donald Trump rally

DALLAS, Sept. 16 (UPI) — Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump held a political rally in Dallas Monday, that was crashed by Jimmy Kimmel Live’s comedian correspondent Jake Byrd.

Byrd played by writer Tony Barbieri attended the event with a camera crew on hand to interview attendees, read passages from Trump’s book, drink from his signature fragrance and pass out “Trump stamps” that he plastered onto the bare backs of Trump supporters.

The comedian egged on interviewees to say and do outrageous things including getting one rally goer to chant “D.T.F” which Byrd explained stood for “Donald Trump Forever.”

Kimmel’s comedy partner was even able to grab a premium seat at the rally situated directly behind Trump as he gave his speech. As the rally rolled on, Byrd could be seen waving a “You’re Hired” sign while making faces and shouting ironic jokes as Trump spoke.

Trump recently made a more conventional appearance on another late night show when he sat down to talk to Jimmy Fallon on Friday.
