LOS ANGELES, May 14 (UPI) — Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande teamed up to sing for a good cause, in animal onesies of course.
The young artists released a duet of their rendition of the Crowded House classic, “Don’t Dream It’s Over” to benefit Cyrus’ non-profit, The Happy Hippie Foundation. The organization aims to prevent homelessness among youth and the LGBT population.
The music video was shot at the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s home as part of the new initiative, Backyard Sessions. On May 5, Cyrus teamed up with Facebook to bring a collection of curated music videos with like minded artists who support the cause. In the first installment, Cyrus sang “No Freedom” in honor of a transgender teenager who committed suicide last December. The second video features Joan Jett and Cyrus singing “Different.” The funds raised through the Facebook page and videos will go towards foundation.
Cyrus posted the latest edition on her page and wrote: “Soooooo thankful for Ariana Grande for being a part of the #backyardsessions!! You’re the sweetest little #happyhippie bear-mouse ever! Loooooove you The Happy Hippie Foundation #HappyHippiePresents #dontdreamitsover”
