NEW YORK, Aug. 18 (UPI) — Comedy Central has released the first look into its new version of The Daily Show set to be hosted by comedian Trevor Noah.
The teaser features Noah walking confidently to The Daily Show set while Kanye West’s Power plays on in the background. Arriving at his destination in dramatic slow-motion, “Same chair,” text reads as Noah sits down and then “Different ass.”
Noah was first selected to replace Jon Stewart back in March. “I’m thrilled for the show and for Trevor,” Stewart said in a statement. “He’s a tremendous comic and talent that we’ve loved working with.”
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah premieres Sept. 28 on Comedy Central. Former host Jon Stewart will be hosting WWE SummerSlam on August 23.
