NEW YORK, Sept. 10 (UPI) — Mindy Kaling’s comedy series The Mindy Project has found a new home on Hulu and now the streaming service has given fans its first look into season four with a new trailer.
The show originally aired on Fox in 2012 and follows Mindy (Kaling) as she works as an OB/GYN and navigates her romantic relationship with her co-worker, Danny played by Chris Messina.
The clip obtained exclusively by E! News, features Danny learning about Mindy’s Indian culture and a funny scene involving the titular character breastfeeding on a subway to chants asking her to “put them away.” The trailer also includes scenes with guest star Joseph Gordon Levitt, one of the many surprise appearances the show promises for this upcoming season.
Fox passed on renewing The Mindy Project back in May, likely due to the low ratings the series received. A hit with critics, Hulu then picked up the show which has performed better on streaming platforms.
“I am thrilled The Mindy Project has found a new home on Hulu, where so many of our fans are already watching the show. It’s such an exciting place to be,” Kaling said in a statement.
The Mindy Project season four debuts on Hulu on Sept. 15.
