BILLINGS, Mont., Aug. 27 (UPI) — A 21-year-old Yellowstone National Park employee died after falling from Grandview Point above the Yellowstone River around 3 a.m. Friday, authorities said.

Estefania Liset Mosquera Alcivar was standing with co-workers when she fell over the edge of the rim trail into the Yellowstone River’s Grand Canyon, according to the National Park Service.

Emergency crews were unable to locate Alcivar’s body until 10 a.m. Friday morning, and determined the fall was not survivable.
