LOS ANGELES, Dec. 16 (UPI) — Yolanda Foster moved into a new apartment over the weekend, nearly two weeks after announcing her split from husband David Foster.
The 51-year-old reality star was spotted outside her new building as movers carried in her belongings. Foster and the 66-year-old musician revealed they are headed for divorce Dec. 2.
“Yolanda is devastated her marriage is over, of course,” a source told People magazine. “But she can’t afford to be sad and miserable … Yolanda just wants clean, happy, positive energy because she really believes it will help.”
Insiders told the publication David Foster is presently staying at The Peninsula hotel in Beverly Hills, and helped the reality star financially secure her new apartment. Foster referenced the move by sharing a photo of her new telephone system Friday on Instagram.
“First day of the rest of my life……. #DefiningMoment #NewBeginnings #OneFootInFrontOfTheOther #HomeSweetHome,” she captioned the picture.
Foster and David Foster were together nine years and married in November 2011. The reality star, who shares three children, Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid, with first husband Mohamed Hadid, recently said she is leaning on her kids amid the split.
