WASHINGTON, Dec. 2 (UPI) — A YouTuber who specializes in testing locks posted a video showing how a padlock from top brand Master Lock can be opened with a few taps of a hammer.
The “LockTube” video, posted to YouTube by user bosnianbill, walks viewers through the process of using a hammer to open a “No. 3″ padlock from Master Lock.
The user uses his finger to apply tension to the lock and uses a small hammer to repeatedly “rap” it on the side.
The lock pops open within seconds.
“What a wonderful piece of American lock engineering, huh?” the YouTuber says. “Stay safe, stay legal — stay away from Master Lock.”
