LOS ANGELES, July 18 (UPI) — Zayn Malik is sporting some new ink on his middle finger – a Star Wars light saber that actually lights up.
New York Tattoo artist Jonathan “Jon Boy” Valena showed off his handy work by sharing a picture of the tattoo on his Instagram, along with a photo of him and Malik and two others.
This latest tattoo is an addition to the former One Direction band member’s other ink, which includes, flowers, lips, a checkered flag and a depiction of former girlfriend Perrie Edwards’ face, E! News reported.
The ultraviolet tattoo was created using ink that lights up under a black light.
And since it’s on Malik’s middle finger, it may not be readily noticable unless someone ticks him off.
The pop star shocked fans in March when he showed up in public sporting a MOM tattoo on his face, in honor of his first solo album Mind of Mine. It was a fake.
Malik, 21, was in the news just last month for a rumored breakup from girlfriend and super model Gigi Hadid. She came back quickly to quell that, though, saying she and Malik, 23, are still a couple.
