Waitress Serving NY Mayor Bloomberg Injures Spurs' Stephen Jackson

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, whose privileges at New York Knicks’ games apparently include having a waitress serve him on her knees at his courtly seat so she wouldn’t obstruct his view, took a Big Gulp out of the visiting San Antonio Spurs on Thursday.

Spurs forward Stephen Jackson ran to the corner of the court to attempt a three-point shot, lofted it, then stepped backward, right onto the waitress who was kneeling in front of Bloomberg to serve him a drink.

Jackson wound up spraining his ankle, but it could have been worse. If Bloomberg had been drinking a Big Gulp, it could have been a broken leg.

Bloomberg wasn’t disturbed in the slightest, resuming eating his popcorn after the play.
