Report: Lance Armstrong Tells Oprah He Doped in 'Emotional' Interview

On Monday, in what an Associated Press source described as an “emotional” interview, Lance Armstrong admitted he used performance-enhancing drugs to win the Tour de France to Oprah Winfrey in an interview that will air on the Oprah Winfrey Network on Thursday.

Oprah will reportedly go on “CBS This Morning” on Tuesday to discuss some of the interview.

Armstrong had previously testified under oath that he had not doped. Earlier reports indicated Armstrong would only confess to having used performance-enhancing drugs if the Justice Department granted him immunity from perjury charges. The Justice Department has not commented on whether they have given Armstrong immunity.
