ND Athletic Director: Te'o May Have TH Presser, Was Planning to Publicly Disclose Hoax Next Week

Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick said Manti Te’o was planning to publicly come forth next week and reveal that his dead girlfriend did not exist and her death was a hoax. Swarbrick said Te’o may now have a press conference “sometime tomorrow,” which would be on Thursday. 

“We were hoping Manti would be the first person to talk,” Swarbrick said.

Notre Dame officials have claimed they have known Te’o’s dead girlfriend never existed as early as December 26.
