SEC Has Most Players in Super Bowl

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) has more players than any other college football conference in this year’s Super Bowl between the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens.

Nineteen players from SEC schools will be represented on the two teams. In addition, “five of the teams’ coaches are from SEC schools,” and “the only SEC school not represented in the game is Kentucky.”

The SEC has won college football’s last seven BCS titles.

The Big Ten and Pac-12 have 15 and 13 players represented, respectively.

Miami has 5 players in the game, the most of any school.
