Clinton Takes in Big East Tournament One Last Time

When he was President, Bill Clinton was able to watch his home state Arkansas Razorbacks win the national title with “40 minutes of hell” pressure defense. As a New York resident, he was able to catch the Big East tournament Thursday as he has been in years past.

Previous trips to the tournament have resulted in the adoring New Jersey media saying the ex-president “stole the show.”

This year, the Georgetown alum spoke with Andy Katz during the game Louisville-Villanova game and mentioned how big of a basketball fan he has been. He also lamented the break-up of the Big East but said he understood the various considerations, most notably the differences between football and non-football schools.

Following the game, however, Clinton was eager to celebrate with the Louisville Cardinals after their 74-55 victory over Villanova. The rather unflattering photos of Clinton taken during the celebration can be seen here.
