The University of Texas-San Antonio (UTSA) Roadrunners shocked top-seeded Louisiana Tech in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) tournament, putting the conference tournament into a state of chaos.
UTSA came into the game with nine wins and 21 losses.
Louisiana Tech was 26-5, but since Louisiana Tech did not even get past the conference quarterfinals, their bubble most likely popped.
Denver, who came into the game 20-9, also lost to a team from Texas (Texas State) that came into the game 11-21.
The WAC will get one conference bid, and now that bid is completely up for grabs, with New Mexico State now looking like the favorite.
