Heisman Winner Manziel Shoves Graduate Assistant Coach During Practice

In a sign that Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel ‘s newfound fame may be getting to his head, the Texas A&M quarterback shoved a graduate assistant coach last weekend during spring practice.

According to the Houston Chronicle, after Manziel threw his third interception during the practice, “an exuberant graduate assistant jumped up and down within what appeared to be inches of an irate Manziel,” and Manziel shoved him.

The Chronicle reported that “players and coaches, who were all gathered along the sidelines, quickly separated” the graduate assistant coach and Manziel before things could escalate.

Fame and hype have ruined many college athletes who were not mature or capable enough to handle it.

Already, Manziel has decided he will only take online classes and not attend classes at Texas A&M during the fall next year because he does not want to deal with all the attention that he will receive.

Manziel and Texas A&M will have to limit such incidents and ensure Manziel does not implode and potentially ruin a future that seems to be limitless.
