Trump: Yankees Should Stop Paying 'Druggie' A-Rod

On Monday, Donald Trump ripped Alex Rodriguez, the embattled Yankees slugger who has been linked to a performance-enhancing drug dealer in Miami and whose $29 million salary this year is more than the Houston Astros payroll. Trump called him a “druggie” who should stop being paid.

Trump, on Twitter, called Rodriguez a “joke” and said the Yankees should “immediately stop paying” Rodriguez because he “signed his contract without telling them he was a druggie.”

Rodriguez is on the disabled list to start the season.
