Nnamdi Asomugha Returning to Bay Area, Signs with 49ers

One of the NFL’s most interesting free agents, Nnamdi Asomugha, has agreed to a one year deal with the San Francisco 49ers.

The former Oakland Raider was considered the best cornerback in the NFL just a few short years ago, however, his time playing for the Philadelphia Eagles has been universally panned. 

Asomugha can only hope that his stint with San Francisco can lead to a return to form. The former first round draft pick out of the University of California- Berkley joins a San Francisco secondary that was desperate for some help.
