Star Lotulelei, one of the top prospects in this month’s NFL Draft had seen his stock drop significantly since the NFL Combine where he was not able to participate due to a discovered heart condition. Tuesday, however, he received positive news from Utah doctor Dave Petron that there is “no evidence of dysfunction” in Lotulelei’s heart.
This is huge news for the massive defensive tackle, not only for his long-term health and well being, but for his draft stock as well. Lotulelei has the skills to merit discussion for Kansas City at the #1 spot, although it is more likely that he will not receive serious consideration until Oakland drafts at #3.
