UPDATE: The Boston Globe reports that more two people have died and more than 100 people have been injured.

Two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday have reportedly hurt at least six people.

The running of the race was stopped, and the Boston Marathon headquarters have been locked down, according to a spokesman. The press room is reportedly locked down as well, according to Runners World. And CNN sources are reporting at least six people have been injured after two loud explosions near the finish lines. Witnesses have reported hearing “loud booms.”

The explosions occurred before 3 pm ET, hours after the first runners finished the race, but while many more were still on the course.

Video showed people scattering away from the plume of spoke near the finish line, near downtown Boston, after the explosions.

As can be seen in the photo, there appears to be multiple–and serious–injuries, and at least one spectator has been carried from the scene in a stretcher.
