NBA Cancels Tuesday's Pacers-Celtics Game at TD Garden

After Monday’s bombings at the Boston Marathon, the NBA announced that Tuesday’s game at Boston between the Celtics and the Pacers at TD Garden has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

“The NBA expresses its sympathy to all those affected by the tragedy in Boston earlier today,” the NBA said in a statement.

Since Boston and Indiana have already made the Eastern Conference playoffs, the NBA decided there was no need to reschedule the game.

Monday night’s NHL game at TD Garden between the Boston Bruins and the Ottawa Senators was also canceled.
