Anthony to Win Scoring Title After Durant Announces He'll Skip Final Game

NEW YORK (Reuters) – New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony will clinch the National Basketball Association (NBA) scoring title after Kevin Durant announced he was not playing in Wednesday’s final game of the regular season.

Durant would have had to score 70 points in the final regular season game to win the title, but has decided to rest so he could be fresh for the first round of the playoffs.
