A day after the Boston Marathon Bombing, Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Jonathan Papelbon talked of how crazy the world has gotten and said, “Obama wants to take our guns from us and everything.”
Papelbon was discussing his fear of walking through a crowded stadium in this day and time, and of how “insane” things have become. He spoke of walking through the baseball park crowd on opening day in Philadelphia and also doing so when he played at Boston. He said he does not feel comfortable doing that anymore.
He then added:
Today’s day and age has gotten so crazy. Shoot man, Obama wants to take our guns from us and everything. You got all this stuff going on, it’s just a little bit insane for me, man. I’m not sure how to take it.
