Report: Fox Sports, ESPN Would Hire Tebow As Analyst

In the unlikely event that former New York Jets quarterback Tebow decides not to pursue football, ESPN and Fox Sports 1 would be interested in hiring him as a college football analyst.

According to a report in the New York Daily News, Fox Sports 1, which will debut in the summer, would pursue Tebow so he could be an analyst alongside host–and fellow Florida gator–Erin Andrews, who came to the network from ESPN.

ESPN, aware that Tebow is the most influential athlete according to Forbes’s index despite not having played much last season, is also intent on not letting Tebow go to a rival network like Fox Sports 1 or NBC Sports.

Sports networks are thinking through these plans in case Tebow becomes a free agent as an analyst.
